The Role

We are looking for a Mid Backend Engineer with Node.js expertise to develop and maintain core digital services for an airline’s online platforms. This role involves building booking functionalities, content delivery systems, and integrations with various internal and external systems.

The team focuses on scalability, reliability, and modern architecture, leveraging microservices, cloud platforms, and modern frontend technologies to deliver a seamless experience for millions of customers. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment, working with Agile methodologies that emphasize collaboration, code quality, and continuous delivery.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security of services.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Contribute to architecture and design discussions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of backend development experience.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Experience in RESTful API development, HTTP, and authentication.
  • Familiarity with microservices and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English level (spoken and written).
