The Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to develop, execute, and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of our applications. The role involves close collaboration with developers, other QA engineers, and product teams to implement robust testing solutions that integrate seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks based on an established template.
  • Implement Playwright test solutions and integrate them with backend tests written in Java (JUnit 5).
  • Develop automated test cases that simulate complex end-to-end user flows with logic-validating assertions.
  • Write and maintain test cases based on business and technical requirements.
  • Maintain existing tests and frameworks
  • Execute smoke, regression, and feature-specific tests across web and backend services.
  • Ensure automated tests are part of the CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps, providing fast and reliable feedback.
  • Maintain existing tests and frameworks, adapting to ongoing application changes.
  • Document testing activities, including test coverage summaries, execution results, and sprint closures.
  • Generate clear and structured test reports for cross-functional team consumption.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and validate business logic.
  • Support quality across the lifecycle, from requirements through release.

  • Programming Languages: Java (Java 21)

  • Frameworks: Spring Boot
  • API & Messaging: JMS
  • CI/CD Integration: Azure DevOps
  • Testing Types: End-to-end, regression, smoke testing
  • Other Tools: Test documentation & reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaboration and teamwork across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Adaptability to new tools, frameworks, and project environments
