The Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-performance, user-friendly applications aligned with the latest Android development standards.

What you will do

  • Develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Implement modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces based on UX/UI designs and Android design guidelines.
  • Connect applications to RESTful APIs using OpenAPI contracts.
  • Manage background tasks, notifications, and third-party SDK integrations.
  • Write unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure code reliability and application stability.
  • Conduct code reviews and follow clean code principles and best practices.
  • Follow mobile security best practices, implementation adjustments based on penetration test results
  • Publish and manage apps through Google Play Console.
  • Monitor performance, gather analytics, and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, ship features, and refine products.
  • Keep up with the latest Android ecosystem trends and suggest improvements to architecture and process.

  • Mobile Analytics and Monitoring: Firebase, Crashlytics
  • App Store Management: Google Play Console, Firebase App Distribution
  • Cloud Services (optional): Firebase (Realtime Database, Firestore), AWS Amplify
  • Security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, Android Keystore, MobSF
  • (Optional): CMS, dynamic content management experience
  • (Optional): JavaScript-Android bridge experience
