The Role

We’re looking for a Junior/Mid iOS Developer to join our internal team. You’ll be working closely with senior iOS engineers to help maintain and improve several mobile applications. Most of our apps are built in Swift using UIKit, and there are also some Objective-C code.

You’ll be handling production issues, supporting ongoing maintenance, and learning how to debug and improve live applications. It’s a great opportunity to deepen your technical skills and gain experience with real-world mobile products in a supportive environment.

What you will do

  • Help troubleshoot and fix issues in production iOS apps (crashes, bugs, performance).
  • Use logs, crash reports, and monitoring tools to investigate problems.
  • Make smaller updates and improvements to legacy code (including some Objective-C).
  • Work with the senior developer to deliver hotfixes and support releases.
  • Document your work and share solutions with the rest of the team.
  • Occasionally support minor feature updates and refactoring tasks.

Requirements

  • Some hands-on experience (1-3 years) with iOS development in Swift and UIKit (can be from internships, personal projects, or a first job).
  • Familiarity with Xcode and basic debugging.
  • Comfortable using Git for version control.
  • Working with crash reporting tools like Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry.
  • Reading and modifying Objective-C code.
  • Understanding networking in iOS (REST APIs, URLSession, etc.).
  • Experience with persistence tools like Realm, Keychain, or UserDefaults.
  • Exposure to push notifications, app localization, and deployment practices.
  • Good problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in Hungarian and English.
