About the role

Join the Zenitech team as a Manual Tester, working on a modern energy management system for power grids, including solar grids. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the development team, ensuring the quality and reliability of complex web applications and APIs. You’ll collaborate closely with developers to identify issues, validate functionality, and help deliver high-quality software that meets user needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Take ownership of QA activities, from test planning to execution and defect management.
  • Dive deep into end-user needs and business requirements to ensure the best possible user experience.
  • Explore and experiment with the software to uncover potential defects.
  • Analyze system architecture and data flows to identify where failures originate.
  • Flag and escalate quality risks when necessary.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and contribute ideas for better efficiency.

Skills and qualities we appreciate:

  • Hands-on experience in manual testing of server-side web applications and APIs.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and workflows.
  • Experience creating detailed test cases and bug reports.
  • Familiarity with Agile as well as waterfall methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to testing.
  • Effective communication skills and a team-player attitude.
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
  • Hungarian language skills are required.
