The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with mid-level C# development experience to contribute to a critical platform in the security awareness domain. 

You will join our team working on a large-scale system that powers essential applications for city maps, team tracking, and GPS-based location services, directly impacting the effectiveness of airforce, military, and medical operations. Your focus will be on delivering robust, reliable, and efficient backend solutions that ensure seamless data processing and real-time information delivery.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in .NET, adhering to coding standards and best practices
  • Design and implement event-driven architectures with Kafka
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performance applications
  • Optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency
  • Stay up to date with modern development practices and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core
  • Experience with Kafka or other message-brokering systems
  • Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and microservices
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based services is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
  • Excellent English communication skills


Nice to have skills: 

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Experience working with low latency technologies and video streaming technologies
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
