The Role

Our friendly Accounting Team in Lithuania is looking for an experienced colleague – Accountant. This is a great opportunity for you to share your ideas, make improvements, participate in developing new procedures and make an impact. Who else if not you?

What you will do

Take part in the overall accounting processes and the daily accounting operations, such as:

  • Posting of purchase invoices
  • Managing the full process of payroll calculation
  • Preparation and processing of closing month-end journals
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing bank payments
  • Handling of the Fixed asset registry
  • Preparation of statistical reports
  • Assisting in the preparation of VAT/personal income tax/social security tax reporting
  • Active involvement in the annual audit process
  • Active involvement in additional internal finance related projects

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Payroll and bookkeeping (at least 3 years experience)
  • Experience with taxes: VAT, personal income tax, social security tax reporting
  • Experience with AccountsIQ is a plus
  • An eagle-eye and attention to detail will be needed to maintain accurate financial information
  • We aim to grow and be better than we were yesterday, so a can-do attitude is highly important
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Education in Business Management, Economy, Finance, or Accounting is a plus
  • Solid English language skills
