The Role

We are looking for talented Android Developers to contribute to our high-impact projects, developing modern applications with complex business logic, ensuring seamless user experience, and integrating innovative technologies within a collaborative, multicultural team. We have 2 projects to offer:

The first project is working on two key mobile apps—one is a greenfield project started two years ago with no legacy code, while the other, launched in 2020, has grown into a feature-rich and diverse application. This role is open only to people living in Hungary and requires 3 days of on-site work in the client’s office.

The second team is developing a critical emergency response platform that integrates multiple applications for security awareness, including city maps, team tracking, and GPS-based person tracking. 

What you will do

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Kotlin, adhering to coding standards and best practices
  • Implement user interfaces following design guidelines and best practices to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience
  • Write and execute tests to ensure product quality and stability
  • Collaborate closely with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines
  • Assist in reviewing and providing feedback on code contributed by team members
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and share knowledge with the team
  • Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, improving app responsiveness, and optimizing resource usage

Requirements

  • Professional experience in Android development, with a strong portfolio of released Android applications
  • Strong experience in Kotlin programming language, Coroutine and Flow with the ability to write clean, maintainable code
  • Proficiency in Jetpack Compose
  • Proficiency in Git version control
  • Hands-on experience with mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.) and best practices
  • Unit testing experience with jUnit, Mockk, Truth, Robolectric
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment
  • Proficiency in the English language
