The role

We are looking for an experienced professional with competence, creativity in a wide range of technical areas. You should be able to drive cross team delivery, resolve most issues and problems effectively, and be a decision maker. You will need to balance hands-on client project work with participation in the company’s Chapter’s initiative.

One of the projects you will start is the DevNet Search system which is being upgraded to Solr Cloud on AWS to enhance security, scalability, and performance while ensuring zero downtime during migration. The project includes automated infrastructure provisioning using terraform and ansible, improved monitoring with Datadog and AWS tools, and rigorous testing for reliability. Comprehensive automation and documentation ensure a resilient and future-ready search platform aligned with DevOps best practices.

What you will do

  • Bring your contribution to different projects running in AWS
  • Utilize the latest automation, scripting, and CI/CD platforms and approaches
  • Install & configure & maintain environments including production; Troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Ensure systems are secured from the infrastructure side
  • Document and present outcome on processes, configurations, and workflows for internal teams
  • Create and suggest improvements on DevOps strategy
  • Integrate and operate business applications
  • Support development as a DevOps engineer
  • Support production environment
  • Help authoring code that automates deployment and configuration
  • Implement and maintain monitoring & logging solutions
  • Analyse and suggest what best practices client could use, help with implementing it
  • Analyse required work and create necessary technical tickets
  • Guide more junior DevOps engineers

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of AWS, Cloudwatch, Docker, Terraform, EKS, EC2, Jenkins
  • Knowledge of Lambda, S3, git, GitHub, Ansible, Packer (nice to have)
  • Bash, Python, HCL (terraform), Groovy (for Jenkins)
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Reliability, independence, punctuality, and integrity
  • Logical, problem-solving focused mindset
