About the role

Zenitech is looking for a Senior Python Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on a large-scale data migration project in the governance software industry. You’ll be part of a talented, multicultural team, designing scalable data solutions that drive analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making for our clients.

What you’ll do

  • Develop data architectures that ensure accessibility, integrity, and usability
  • Design and implement scalable ETL processes tailored to client needs
  • Manage data workflows, enabling seamless analytics and reporting
  • Provide expertise in data warehousing, stream processing, and cloud services
  • Implement data quality checks for accuracy and consistency across sources
  • Work with AWS tools and automate deployment processes in CI/CD

Skills and qualities we appreciate

  • 5+ years of experience with Python and libraries like NumPy, Pandas
  • Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and AWS cloud tools
  • Experience with Big Data tools like Airflow, Spark, Kafka, Redshift
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset
  • Ability to work independently with clear, proactive communication
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
