About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join Zenitech and make a meaningful impact by building powerful data solutions for our clients. In this role, you’ll develop and optimize applications that drive analytics, machine learning, and decision-making in real-world settings. You’ll work alongside a talented, diverse team, transforming complex data into valuable insights for our clients and empowering them to make smarter decisions.

What you’ll do

  • Design and maintain Python and Django applications that drive innovative data solutions
  • Build robust cloud infrastructure on AWS using ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3
  • Work with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL, ensuring secure and efficient data storage
  • Containerize applications with Docker and automate workflows via CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deliver quality solutions
  • Streamline tasks to enhance productivity and troubleshoot as needed to keep systems running smoothly

Skills and qualities we appreciate

  • Proven expertise in Python and Django frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS, Lambda, and S3
  • Proficiency with Docker and CI/CD tools like CodeBuild and CodeDeploy
  • Familiarity with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and data modeling practices
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex requirements
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment

*As we hire permanent employees for this role, we offer remote opportunities only in Romania, Lithuania and Hungary.
