The Role
You will join Zenitech to work directly on client projects, contributing to the enhancement of critical systems. One key project involves a legacy motorway matrix sign network that provides drivers with real-time information on accidents, weather conditions, and traffic rerouting. Your work will focus on implementing new features, such as enabling all signs in a specific area to update simultaneously during major incidents, improving traffic management and driver safety.
This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful, high-visibility client solutions while collaborating closely with both the client and Zenitech’s technical teams.
What you will do

Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements

Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, architects, and development teams

Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications
-
Create user stories, use cases, process flows, system diagrams, and acceptance criteria
-
Participate actively in technical solution design and architecture discussions
-
Analyze and design REST API integrations and service contracts
-
Support interface definition and integration requirements across multiple systems
-
Create and maintain logical data models and entity relationship diagrams
-
Analyze database structures and data flows across distributed systems
-
Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders
-
Support backlog refinement and prioritization activities with Product Owners

Analyze existing (“as-is”) and target (“to-be”) processes and system landscapes

Collaborate with QA teams during test planning, UAT preparation, and validation
-
Identify technical and business risks, dependencies, and integration challenges
-
Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to BA best practices
Requirements
-
Business Analysis
-
5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or System Analyst
-
Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills
-
Experience creating user stories, use cases, process maps, UML, BPMN diagrams, and functional specifications

Experience working in Agile software development environments

Technical Analysis
-
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and system architecture

Comfortable participating in technical discussions with architects and developers

Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations

Understanding of API design principles and interface specifications
-
Experience with microservice-based architectures and distributed systems

Ability to analyze and document technical workflows and integration scenarios

Data & Database Skills
-
Experience designing logical data models and entity relationships

Good understanding of relational databases and SQL concepts

Understanding of differences between SQL, NoSQL, and Time-Series databases
-
Ability to analyze data structures, schemas, and data flows

Tools & Communication

Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Enterprise Architect or similar tools

Excellent Hungarian and English communication skills

Strong stakeholder management skills

Analytical mindset and problem-solving capability

Eperience in transportation, telecommunications, or infrastructure domains
