University Partnership
Since 2022, Zenitech has partnered with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary’s leading technical university. In July 2026, we deepened that relationship by opening a dedicated Zenitech BME research laboratory within BME’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Department of Automation and Applied Informatics.
The lab gives our engineers direct access to academic research, joint projects with leading professors, and early engagement with postgraduate talent, while giving the students a live environment to work on real commercial problems. It’s a two-way relationship: we get early sight of frontier thinking, and students get hands-on experience solving the challenges industry actually faces.
Emerging Technology
New technology is only worth adopting if it solves a real problem. Our role is to cut through the hype: we evaluate emerging technologies (working with our Tech office team or BME); from composable applications to synthetic data and augmented reality; against your specific business challenges, testing what actually works before we recommend how to apply it.
That means you get automation and capabilities that weren’t previously possible, without the risk of chasing technology for its own sake.
R&D, MVPs, PoCs
Our Technology Office runs systematic R&D using our proprietary Innovation Framework, to turn ideas into working solutions. This is where ideas get pressure-tested into practical tools: Meridian (our AI Module library), SensorHUB (production control and optimisation), AskGenie (AI-driven compliance intelligence), and ZeniCore (development collaboration) all started life as R&D before becoming client-ready solutions.
Whether you’re bringing a defined R&D challenge, a half-formed idea, or a question about what’s possible, we build and test proofs of concept fast, so you know what works before committing to full delivery.
Innovation framework
Our Technology Office has a proven record of solving problems where others have failed. Through our dedicated R&D function we can research and experiment, turn innovative ideas into solutions on behalf of our customers. This experimentation uses our proprietary Innovation Framework of Innovation, Navigation, Validation and Delivery.
Through use of this framework our R&D facility has enabled us to develop practical solutions to what are often complex challenges. This has included Meridian our library of AI agents, as well as the agents themselves, deploying AI to automate complicated compliance tasks and the ability to draw insights from previously inaccessible data, buried deep beneath layers of document management systems.
