The Role
We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer with strong web application and mobile-responsive experience to join Zenitech’s established, multi-country design team. You’ll be part of the same dedicated group supporting a key US healthcare client, focusing on the desktop and responsive web experience of a large, complex platform.
You’ll collaborate with researchers, content designers, a design system specialist, the React Native designers, and multiple engineering squads to deliver a cohesive, cross-surface experience. The role suits someone confident in designing complex desktop workflows while also creating high-quality responsive behaviours that complement the native mobile app experience.
While this role focuses on a specific product area, our business model means you’ll also work across different clients and domains over time. Therefore, strong, well-rounded senior-level UX and UI capability is essential.
This role also offers an optional People Lead responsibility, supporting 5-8 designers. It sits separately from your individual contributor responsibilities and includes additional compensation.
What you will do
- Design clear, structured desktop web application experiences across key workflows
- Create high-quality responsive web interactions and breakpoints that complement the native mobile app
- Translate complex healthcare processes into intuitive, task-focused web interactions
- Ensure alignment with the React Native designers to support a cohesive cross-surface experience
- Define user flows, IA, and interaction patterns for multi-step and data-heavy tasks
- Partner with researchers to plan and iterate on testing cycles
- Produce high-quality UI with strong hierarchy, layout structure, and usability
- Collaborate across multiple engineering squads and product workstreams
- Communicate design decisions clearly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience designing web applications with strong mobile-responsive capabilities
- Strong capability in information architecture, interaction design, and multi-breakpoint behaviour
- A portfolio demonstrating confident UI craft and clear UX thinking across desktop and responsive web
- Ensure alignment with the Web Application team designers to support a cohesive cross-surface experience
- Experience applying research insights and iterating with evidence
- Comfortable working across parallel, multi-team delivery environments
- Strong communication skills and a calm, organised approach
- Ability to transition into new domains where needed
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to AI-assisted design or product workflows, and an interest in applying these responsibly within real-world delivery.
- Experience designing for healthcare, insurance, or complex information domains
- Familiarity with accessibility principles (WCAG)

- Salary range: 3500 – 6100 EUR gross/month (Note: the specific amount will depend on your experience and competencies.)
