The role
Join the Zenitech team as a DevOps Engineer, working on a modern energy management system for power grids, including solar grids. You’ll collaborate closely with developers to identify issues, validate functionality, and help deliver high-quality software that meets user needs.
What will you do?
- Develop & maintain scalable Java-based applications in a containerized environment.
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
- Deploy and manage microservices on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, logs, and infrastructure issues.
- Provide testing support, ensuring smooth integration and deployment of new features.
- Collaborate with DevOps & QA teams to streamline deployment processes and improve automation.
- Ensure system reliability by implementing best practices for observability, logging, and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Improve security & compliance in deployments and operational workflows.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes (Helm, Operators, Ingress Controllers).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
- Experience in application operations (troubleshooting, log analysis, monitoring).
- Knowledge of automated testing strategies in a CI/CD pipeline.
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar frameworks).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm) is a plus.
- Fluency in Hungarian language
