About the role

We are looking for a Mid-level Data Analyst with strong technical skills. You will be a part of a mixed team working closely on an exciting startup project – a personnel service-providing system. This position is a temporary role for 6 months with the possibility of prolonging. 

What you will do 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements for data analysis projects
  • Define KPIs, success, and health metrics in the context of product and business initiatives
  • Identify relevant data sources and work with data engineers and tracking experts to provide data into the analytics environment
  • Preprocess data to address quality issues and ensure accuracy for analysis using commonly used techniques: sampling, normalization, noise removal, dimensionality reduction, data categorization, among others
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights
  • Utilize statistical methods to extract meaningful information from data
  • Develop and maintain data models to support analysis and reporting
  • Design and create effective data visualizations to communicate insights and trends
  • Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, product managers, and decision-makers
  • Provide training and support to end users for interpreting and utilizing data visualizations effectively

 

Skills and qualities we appreciate

  • Experience in product analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a
    related field. Experience in the Supply and demand marketplace domain is a plus
  • Expertise in SQL and experience working with large-scale data sets on cloud
    platforms such as AWS
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools. Experience with Tableau, and Metabase is a
    plus
  • Strong proficiency in analyzing data and applying statistical techniques including
    hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and clustering, as well as developing models
    for churn, retention, and predictions
  • Collaboration with data analysts, commercial teams, product managers, and data
    scientists in designing and evaluating A/B tests. Experience with experimentation
    platforms (e.g. Optimizely, AB Smartly, Split) is a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for a variety of audiences
  • Curiosity and passion for discovering and enhancing data narratives, using these insights to influence and drive meaningful change within the organization
