The Role

You’ll become an integral part of Zenitech’s Delivery team, taking on the role of a Business Analyst/ System Analyst with advanced technical expertise and experience. Operating from our Budapest offices, you’ll collaborate with a diverse, distributed team of engineers dedicated to impactful projects.

Our client is a leading regional financial organisation committed to fostering market growth by integrating new technologies into daily operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

The role concerns high-impact customer-facing applications within a modern application technology environment. Also, in this role, we will invite the new colleagues to come to the client’s modern office in Budapest 3 times a week to meet business and technical stakeholders, while spending the remaining days working from home.

What you will do

  • Work in teams of Business and Technical stakeholders to architect and build high-quality, effective business service application ecosystems; 
  • Identify business requirements and make suggestions for improvements in systems design and coding; 
  • Support QA managers with suggesting applicable test methods/types for the developments; 
  • Determine operational objectives; evaluates output requirements and formats; 
  • Design new solutions by analyzing requirements;  
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams;  
  • Study system capabilities;  
  • Assist in writing requirements with the Product Owner (Client) with high standards of security, accountability, availability, and performance, and last but not least modularity; 
  • Improve systems by analyzing current practices; and designing modifications to technical view; 
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; improves procedures; 
  • Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures; 
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by following trends and innovations, from a technical perspective; 
  • Based on stakeholder requirements, create application and component-level specifications; 
  • Contribute to building processes based on best practices of the profession and aligned with the client’s industry-specific best practices; 
  • Make reviews and assures the quality of documentation. 

Requirements

  • Teamwork and resolution-driven attitude; 
  • Experience and knowledge of enterprise software and software development practices in both frontend and backend integration technologies, especially in the Bank sector; 
  • Affinity for technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Spring Boot, Cassandra, SQL and NoSQL systems, Synchronous and Asynchronous service systems;  
  • Good command of English: in writing and verbally and fluent Hungarian knowledge; 
  • Proven MS Office software and Atlassian skills; 
  • Business process modeling (BPM) knowledge and experience; 
  • Ability and skill to create clear and accurate flow charts UML, Draw.io , Visio, PlantUML (etc.) knowledge, REST API design in OpenAPI, Queue management (Kafka is a plus), interface specification experience;
  • Agile experience.
