About the role

Currently, we are on the lookout for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will join one of our projects with one of the largest multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer and a major international brand.

What you will do

  • Design, implement and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

  • Develop reusable automation for infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks

  • Design scalable, secure and highly available cloud solutions

  • Implement monitoring, observability and logging solutions across Azure environments

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and production issues

  • Collaborate with Product Manager and engineering teams in Agile ceremonies

  • Participate in ongoing operational support and backlog prioritization

  • Drive DevOps best practices and cloud engineering standards

  • Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to technical decision-making

  • Review infrastructure code and promote engineering quality

  • Continuously improve platform reliability, security and deployment efficiency

  • Contribute to an environment where different perspectives are valued, and where open collaboration leads to better technical decisions.

Requirements

  • DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

  • Excellent knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM or similar)

  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash or Python)

  • Experience with monitoring, logging and observability within Azure

  • Experience with containers and container platforms

  • Strong understanding of cloud networking and security concepts

  • Experience working in Agile teams

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in self-organising teams

  • Salary range: 3700 – 6000 EUR gross/month (Note: the specific amount will depend on your experience and competencies.)
