The Role
Our friendly Accounting Team in Lithuania is looking for a colleague – Junior Accountant.
This is a great opportunity for you to share your ideas, make improvements, help develop new procedures, and make an impact. Who else, if not you?
Fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover).
This is a part-time opportunity – so it‘s perfect for students as well.
What you will do

Take part in overall accounting processes and daily accounting operations, such as:

Posting of purchase invoices

Preparation and processing of closing month-end journals
-
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Handling of the fixed asset registry

Active involvement in additional internal finance-related projects.
Requirements

Knowledge of VAT and profit tax legislation

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

Solid English language skills, written and verbal
-
An eagle eye and attention to detail will be needed to maintain accurate financial information

We aim to grow and be better than we were yesterday, so a can-do attitude is highly important

Education in Business Management, Economy, Finance, or Accounting is a plus

Salary range: 1000-1200 EUR gross/month (Note: the specific amount will depend on your experience and competencies.)
