The Role
We are looking for a Lead React Native Engineer to join one of our projects for an industry-leading U.S. consumer healthcare navigation company.
This is a high-impact technical leadership role focused on the redesign and extension of a core mobile application and website. You will drive the technical direction, using React Native and TypeScript, to build secure features that enable thousands of patients to book appointments, manage insurance, and track payments within the U.S. healthcare system.
You will have the chance to improve directly the patient experience in a high-visibility application, while closely collaborating with an international, cross-functional engineering team.
What you will do
- Guide a newly forming React Native team responsible for the redesign and feature expansion of an existing U.S. healthcare platform. The goal is to establish best practices, set up project foundations, and ensure high-quality delivery across mobile platforms.
- Lead and mentor the React Native development team.
- Set up the technical environment, architecture, and good practices.
- Oversee deployment and delivery to App Store and Play Store.
- Collaborate closely with the client and Zenitech stakeholders.
- Ensure quality, performance, and maintainability of the application.
- Support discovery and roadmap planning.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency and expertise in React Native, TypeScript, and Expo.
- Expert knowledge and implementation experience with Offline-First patterns.
- Deep understanding of app versioning, beta distribution, crash analytics, and remote config.
- Experience in publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play and App Store.
- Expertise in secure storage and data handling best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Salary range: 3600 – 5900 EUR gross/month (Note: the specific amount will depend on your experience and competencies.)
