The Role
You’ll be developing a conversational voice system designated to the people who are on call & who use telephone service. They need this AI to listen to the calls, understand what is going on, give the prompts where to guide the person. Evaluate how the call went, provide indicators how well the call is going right now.
What you will do
- Lead technical design sessions and set architectural direction for voice/AI solutions.
- Mentor and guide intermediate/junior developers, enforcing coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to shape technical feasibility and delivery roadmaps.
- Own complex problem-solving in areas like call flow optimization, latency reduction, and voice agent accuracy.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and reliability in customer-facing deployments.
- Build different AI agents, where agents are tasked with something specific (e.g. providing suggestions to internal staff, summarizations).
Requirements
- Advanced Programming Expertise: 5+ years in Python with strong skills in structuring, optimizing, and scaling production systems.
- Full-Stack Mastery: Deep experience with back-end frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask); proven ability to architect and maintain end-to-end solutions.
- Recent experience with generative AI, AWS experience, Python. Needs to be flexible with models, frameworks.
- Understanding of how to test AI agents.
- CURRENT working knowledge with generative AI
- AWS & Conversational Systems: Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex at scale, including building enterprise-grade voice bots, contact center solutions, and telephony system integrations.
- Systems Architecture: Ability to design scalable, resilient architectures for conversational AI systems, including microservices, API orchestration, and event-driven workflows.
- Database & Data Flow: Expertise in data modeling, query optimization, and scaling SQL/NoSQL systems for real-time conversational use cases.
