The Role
Our client is an industry-leading consumer healthcare navigation and care coordination company that delivers an unparalleled consumer experience to its members, as well as validated claims savings and high satisfaction rates for its self-insured employer clients. The data team is in the middle of multiple teams/domains, and ensures integration and communication between them via the API layer. We are looking for an additional Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will do
- Collaborate on Test Strategy: Work with fellow QA engineers to define robust test strategies and approaches.
- Design Comprehensive Tests: Create detailed test cases and maintain regression packs to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Perform Diverse Testing: Engage in manual and exploratory testing, validating new endpoints, flows, edge cases, and error handling.
- Automate API Testing: Design, implement, and maintain API test automation solutions using Typescript/JavaScript.
Requirements
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript & Test Automation: Demonstrate expertise in these critical areas.
- Performance Testing Experience: Proven experience with tools like Gatling, JMeter, or similar.
- API Test Automation Proficiency: Solid background in automating API tests.
- Deep Understanding of Web Protocols: Familiarity with HTTP/REST, ideally GraphQL/gRPC, including caching, status codes, headers, pagination, and idempotency.
