About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in the tech sector to join our team. As a Contracts & Business Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our cross-functional business support team. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing sales and legal paperwork including Master Services Agreements (MSAs and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)), and crafting Statements of Work (SOWs), requiring close collaboration with the Sales and Finance teams.

What you will do:

    • Manage all aspects of sales and legal paperwork, including documentation and processing.
    • Ensure all contracts adhere to UK legal regulations and company policies, seeking legal advice when necessary to address any discrepancies or issues.
    • Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation utilizing efficient filing systems to ensure easy retrieval and accessibility.
    • Tailor and support negotiations of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
    • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Finance teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
    • Take ownership of supplier contracts and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and company policies.
    • Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and adept project management capabilities to oversee multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Work autonomously to handle day-to-day responsibilities while contributing to team objectives.

    Skills and qualities we appreciate:

    • Extensive experience in contract management, with a focus on reviewing, analysing and tailoring contracts.
    • Strong understanding of UK contract law and legal principles, with the ability to interpret and apply legal language and requirements effectively.
    • Exceptional organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
    • Proficient project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information and sensitive business matters.
    • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in problem-solving and decision-making.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
    • Substantial experience in a similar role, preferably within the IT or people-focused business sectors, demonstrating competence in contract management and business support functions.
